Balloons Flight and Weather Conditions

That means when the weather condition is bad you may be forced to land down before one hour or your flight may be postponed for some hours.

After the flight

After the flight you will celebrate in the traditional style with champagne (well, an excellent sparkling wine) before sitting down to a full English breakfast.

Program Schedule

Day 1 at 5.00am: Balloon Safari Start Time

The most beautiful wildlife watching balloon flight in the world and the ultimate Safari Experience.

The balloon safari will start on 5:00am, at central Serengeti lodge or camp, by collecting you and transfer by Landrover to the launch site near Masai Kopjes. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a flight briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon.

We will take off at sunset and get rising at sunrise and float to whichever direction the morning will take us. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below.

Wildlife viewing on balloon safaris

He may ascend to 1000′ or more to see the enormity and wonderful panorama of the Serengeti plain. From time to time the pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners. In between these burns, there is silence apart from the natural sounds below.
