PACKAGE DESCRIPTION

Cultural Full day Trip to Chagga village full board and village walk:

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and greeted by our officer outside the customs, soon after you will be given a road transfer to the Machame Nkweshoo Cultural Tourism for dinner and overnight.

Our homestay is well equipped and furnished to make your stay comfortable for the day and night. We have a range of activities in store for you including our local home museum, an opportunity to participate in the daily family chores, majorly cooking. You will also get to learn about the traditional organic agricultural practices on coffee and banana farms mixed with small gardens of vegetables and fruits.

Walking activities to the waterfalls, coffee farms, the local schools, oldest church and the old traditional hiding caves used by the Chagga tribe during inter-tribal wars with Maasai warriors. You will also get an opportunity to visit local markets (on Mondays and Thursdays) buy some stuff and get to know how to prepare a number of traditional African cuisines and enjoy them during your lunch and dinner.  A visit to our tree planting initiative will wind up your trip in the next morning.

Indicated price covers:  Village Development .Fee, coordination fees, and local tour guide fee and contact person/people. The price does not include transport cost from where you are to our office, but we can arrange transport per request.
